Journey with us in RCIA
In September we will begin a new journey in faith to share the richness of the Catholic Church and our parish family through Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, RCIA.
We invite you to learn what the Church teaches in an open and welcoming environment. These sessions also are opportunities for you to ask those perplexing and difficult questions you may have about the Church. These gatherings are for inquirers and are open to people who are unbaptized, as well as those who are baptized Christians from other denominations, and for Catholics who were baptized but did not receive the sacraments on Confirmation and/or Eucharist.
For more information please contact Father Jose or our pastoral assistant, Bonnie Thiele Hunt at 306-522-8583.

Lay Formation and Evangelization Program
"Go, make disciples!" Christ invites all of us to be active, intentional, disciples. Our program mission is to help men and women encounter the joy of the Gospel in a way that fuels missionary zeal in the parish and the wider community. Our evangelizing missionaries come from all walks of life and have included moms and dads, grandmothers and grandfathers, teachers, medical technicians, and truck drivers.
Empowered by an intimate, living relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church, and informed by solid catechesis and faith formation, our alumni are sent forth to love and to serve wherever Christ has need "In Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth" (Acts 1:8)!
We are currently accepting applications for fall intake. For more information or to register, contact our Program Coordinator, Eric Gurash at 306.325.1651 ext 211 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thinking Faith Podcast
TF21: Thinking Faith Smackdown: Proselytism Vs. Evangelization!
Recent exhortations from Pope Francis against proselytizing persons and cultures have resulted in what Brett terms 'calumny and slander!' as media outlets make the mistake of coupling this with the Church's evangelizing mission.
The good news for our listeners? We get to have another 'Smackdown' episode where we pit proselytism and evangelization in a toe-to-toe cage match and see who comes out on top. It's the Eye of the Tiger baby, and it's right here on Thinking Faith!
